Our approach to enhancing flexibility and mobility combines top techniques from yoga, Pilates, gymnastics, and circus arts. With this blend, you can increase flexibility throughout your entire body.

Stretch Stronger

This class covers various flexibility exercises, from intricate back bridges to foundational toe touches. With a focus on progressive and static stretches, joint strengthening, and alignment, you'll engage every aspect of your range of motion. The session emphasizes self-guided flexibility training without using aids like foam rollers, ensuring a safe and challenging workout to enhance your flexibility.

Personal Stretching Coach

Increase flexibility for the whole body is the best way to prevent injury. Our stretch class will teach dynamic stretching and passive stretch to reduce risk of injury.

Muscles that lack strength may not stretch effectively over time. Our personalized stretching coaching is tailored for everyone, focusing on enhancing muscle strength even when extended. This approach promotes peak mobility and flexibility for optimal movement health.

Flexibility and Mobility for all ages

Active flexibility at Willspace is for anyone looking to enhance mobility, flexibility, and body awareness. Particularly if you're really into yoga and Pilates, those classes still need to be completed. And what we do is we take principles from yoga and Pilates. We also incorporate movements from gymnastics, contortion, circus work, and general healthy mobility movements.

We're targeting your hips to create our flexibility class within the flexibility training practice. We're targeting your ankles. We're targeting your hamstrings, quads, and your back and spine. This all culminates in working on front splits, middle splits, and backbends as the primary target points for this class.

This might sound challenging, particularly if you're an older person trying to move better, but the class is absolutely for everyone. Each movement is scaled to be accessible for anyone at any age and any movement level who wants to learn how to move their body better. You can work at any age to create body awareness, to create body mobility, and to create body flexibility. And that's what this class is for.
